Your role in detail
As an Office Assistant for our Fundamental Research Department in Bonn, you will be a primary point of reference for all secretarial tasks in an international environment; these tasks include correspondence, appointment coordination, seminar preparation and organization and business trip planning and accounting. To execute administrative tasks, you will mostly communicate in German. However, any communication (verbal and written) concerning scientific matters with international scientists in Germany and abroad will be done mainly in English.
Your qualifications
- Fluency in German and excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with proven relevant professional experience
- Teamworking skills, multitasking ability and ability to prioritize workload
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of pertinent applications (e.g., MS Office)
- High work ethic and communication skills
- Ability to interact in a highly international working environment
