Research Fellow Position in AI for Biomedicine (m/w/d)

Your role in detail

The group of Prof Sach Mukherjee has an opening for a Research Fellow in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) for biomedicine. Our research efforts centre on AI, machine learning (ML) and high-dimensional modelling for next-generation biomedicine. Current methodological foci include deep neural networks for causal learning; robust, scientifically-constrained AI; and high-dimensional learning. Applications span large-scale molecular biology and "omics" as well as precision medicine. The focus of the position is on novel methodology for complex, high-dimensional data

Your qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a PhD in a relevant field (e.g. engineering or computer science) and a strong academic background (including previous postdoctoral experience). A track record of  development of novel, advanced AI methods, including a track record of relevant scientific publications, is important. Experience in grant writing and high-performance computing (HPC) would be advantageous.
