Your role in detail

  • Correspondence in English and German
  • Planning, coordination and organization of appointments

Your profile in cutting edge research

  • Completed training as International Office Management assistant, Business Administration assistant or a comparable qualification
  • Fluent English and German skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as common calendar and email programs
  • Strong communication skills in internal and external interactions
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong team skills as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them confidently
  • Careful, detail-oriented working style combined with very good communication skills
  • Confident presence in an international working environment
  • High level of commitment as well as a structured and reliable way of working, even under a high workload

Your Role in Cutting-Edge Research

As an International Office Assistant (f/m/x) in our Basic Research department at our Bonn site, you are the central point of contact for all administrative and secretarial tasks in an international environment. You will take on a wide range of organizational responsibilities and work closely with an experienced team of other assistants. In your role, you will be in contact with researchers at different career stages who work on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, and you will also act as an important interface between science and administration. Communication takes place predominantly in English and German, both written and spoken, with international contacts in Germany and abroad.
