The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) is a world-leading internationally oriented research center, committed to discovering new approaches to prevent and treat neurodegenerative diseases. To this end, researchers at ten DZNE sites across Germany pursue a translational and interdisciplinary strategy comprising five interconnected areas: fundamental research, clinical research, health care research, population health science, and systems medicine. www.dzne.de
Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/x) - Neuroscience / Biomedicine
Our group is interested in molecular and cellular mechanisms that contribute to neuropsychiatric and aging-associated disorders. We employ mouse models and multidisciplinary experimental approaches that combine behavioral neuroscience with genomics and epigenomics, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, as well as neurophysiology. The group is also interested in translating findings from preclinical models to human populations.
We offer committed mentorship, exciting and fully funded research projects and an excellent scientific environment in a major center for translational neuroscience research.
