Student research assistant – “studentische Hilfskraft” (f/m/d) for the Image and Data Analysis Facility (IDAF) in the Core Research Facilities & Services
for 32h/month, which can be arranged freely during normal working hours.
Ideally, the candidates would be interested in a long-time commitment (e.g. first semester students).
The student will support the staff of the IDAF facility with projects in applied data science and signal processing. For example design, test, and implement workflows for the automated analysis of high-dimensional data (detection of objects in microscopic images, feature engineering, supervised and unsupervised learning (classification/clustering), and predictive modeling)
Ideally the candidate should speak English and has some knowledge about Artificial Inteligence, machine learning and/or Deep learning (i.e. student of physics, mathematics, informatics or bioinformatics).
