Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/x) Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology

We are looking for you to join us full-time or part-time (at least 50%) for a Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/x) position, initially limited to one year.”


 

Your role in detail

  • Independent planning and execution of projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to support early-career researchers and to engage in knowledge exchange

Your qualifications

  • In-depth, proven expertise in molecular and cellular neurobiology.
  • Advanced knowledge in the cultivation of neuronal and glial cells, including primary mouse cells and cells derived from human iPS cells.
  • Solid experience in mouse behavior studies (behavioral and endpoint analyses, reproducibility, standardized tests).
  • Advanced skills in the analysis of next-generation sequencing data (RNA-seq), including the use of common bioinformatics tools and pipelines, as well as methods for quality control, differential expression, and integrative analyses.
  • Proven expertise in non-coding RNA (ncRNA) biology and epigenetics within the neurosciences.
  • Desirable: experience with animal models beyond basic requirements and strong ethical compliance.
  • Desirable: mentoring/coaching experience, team leadership, or project coordination.
