IT Koordinator / IT Generalist (f/m/x)

This position is advertised part-time at 50 - 75%.


Your role in detail

  • Conception, implementation and controlling of IT projects in a research institute
  • Optimise IT processes and procedures
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software for the following systems: Apple devices, Microsoft devices, Linux systems
  • Provide first and second level support for DZNE employees at DZNE Tübingen
  • On-site contact person for troubleshooting and fault rectification of all IT infrastructure
  • Support of the server environment: network infrastructure, error analysis and replacement of hardware components
  • Supervision and ensuring functionality of data storage, data backup
  • Advice and support employees of DZNE Tübingen with the purchase of IT equipment
  • Managing the media system, projector, videoconference system and the telephone system
  • Maintain strong working relationship with the central DZNE IT department in Bonn and other stake holders (internally and with cooperation partners)

 

Your qualifications

  • IT Generalist with strong knowledge of operating systems and networking technologies (Mac OS, Windows, Linux)
  • Excellent communication skills and service-oriented mentality, enjoy working with different people
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and orally
  • Completed University Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or demonstrable knowledge acquired through experience
