Researcher (m/f/x) in Dementia Health Care Research

To support various projects, the Witten site is seeking two Research Associates starting in January 2026. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in nursing science, health sciences, therapeutic health science, social sciences, psychology, public health, or other related disciplines.

The position has a minimum workload of 60%, is limited to three years, and includes the option for extension.


 

Your role in detail

  • Involvement in dementia care research
  • Contributing to health services research projects involving people with dementia
  • Involvement in participatory (co-design) research projects
  • Organising and participating in project meetings
  • Contributing to the preparation and publication of research findings
  • Co-organizing workshops and events

    Your qualifications

    • Quick comprehension, creativity, and strong communication skills
    • Interest in participatory research projects
    • Proficiency in common MS Office applications
    • Experience with reference management software (e.g., EndNote) and empirical data analysis programs (e.g., MAXQDA) is desirable
    • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
    • Interest in dementia and health care research, or willingness to familiarize oneself with the topic
